How to Apply

Applicants must apply for the ITEC training program by filling up the online application form at https://www.itecgoi.in/stream_list.php
and taking a printout of the filled form. This form is to be submitted to the nodal/designated Government Department/Agency of the applicant’s country.

The nodal/designated Department/Agency is, in turn, required to forward the applications to the Embassy of India in Tashkent along with the undertaking by the candidate and certification from the employer (Part-II of Application Form).

Candidates may take a printout of the application and submit the physical copy to the Embassy of India, accompanied by the following documents:

  • Recommendation letter in original
  • Copy of applicant’s labour book
  • Copy of applicant’s passport
  • Copies of certificates/diplomas relating to academic qualifications

Applicants may later check the status of their application by logging in at www.itecgoi.in
The credentials for log-in may be noted while filling up the form.

Who can apply

  • Applicants should be working in Government or Semi-Government organizations.
  • In exceptional cases, applicants from the private sector recommended by Government, Chambers of Commerce, or Academic Institutions may be considered.

Eligibility criteria for admission to Courses

  • Academic qualifications as laid down by the Institute for the course concerned.
  • Working knowledge of English.
  • Age between 25 to 45 years.
  • At least five years’ working experience.
  • Medically fit to undertake the training.

General Information

  • Applications should reach the Embassy of India at least 3 months before the commencement of the course.
  • Upon selection, the Embassy of India will inform the candidate.
  • Selected candidates are required to familiarize themselves with the living conditions in India and details about the Institute through its website.
  • The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, has the sole authority to accept applications/nominations.

The credentials for login should be noted while filling up the form.

Who can apply

  • Officials in Government, Public and Private Sectors, Universities, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, etc.
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of work experience.

Eligibility criteria for admission to Courses

  • Academic qualifications as laid down by the Institute for the course concerned.
  • Working knowledge of English required to follow the course.
  • Age between 25 to 45 years.
  • Medically fit to undertake the training.

General Information

  • Applications should reach the Embassy/High Commission of India preferably 3 months before the commencement of the course.
  • Upon selection, the Embassy/High Commission of India will inform the nodal/designated Department/Agency of the nominating country and the candidate.
  • Selected candidates are required to familiarize themselves fully with the living conditions in India and about the Institute through the Institute’s website.
  • Decision regarding acceptance of applications/nominations rests solely with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India has announced opening of 22 competitions for International participation under Create in India Challenge – Season-1, the cornerstone of the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES), scheduled to be held in Mumbai, India from 1st to 4th May, 2025. Winners of these challenges will get an exclusive opportunity to visit India and participate in this unique Global Summit.These challenges span a wide range of creative domains including but not limited to Music, Advertising, Gaming, Esports, Animation, VFX, Filmmaking, Trailer Making, Poster Making, Comics, Community Radio, Reel Making (list with links below).

The ‘Create in India’ Challenges have been designed to showcase India’s robust creative infrastructure while fostering collaboration between domestic and international talent. The initiative aligns with the Government’s commitment to foster an environment of cross-border innovation and creativity.
